FAQs

  • Where do you practice?

My office is located in Chelsea, Manhattan. I offer in-person sessions there and virtual psychotherapy and integration sessions for adults anywhere in New York State.

  • Where do you offer KAP?

I work in collaboration with a local NYC facility that administers the ketamine infusion or Spravato (esketamine nasal spray), which may be covered by insurance. I provide the psychotherapy component, preparation before and integration after, working alongside their medical team to support the full arc of your treatment. We'll talk through the logistics and what's right for your situation during our consultation.

  • What is KAP?

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a treatment that combines ketamine, a legal, FDA-approved medicine with dissociative and psychedelic properties with psychotherapy. Ketamine creates a temporary window of neuroplasticity and emotional openness that can make it easier to access and process material that's otherwise difficult to reach in traditional talk therapy. KAP involves three phases: preparation (setting intentions and building the therapeutic relationship), the medicine session itself (held in a safe, supported setting), and integration (making meaning of what emerged and translating it into lasting change). It has shown strong results for treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, anxiety, and existential distress.

  • Do you offer services outside of NY?

Yes, coaching and mental health consulting are available to clients outside of New York State, since these services fall outside the clinical licensure framework. If you're not in New York but are looking for support around psychedelic experiences, major life transitions, or mental health navigation, coaching may be a good fit.

  • What is your therapy Style?

Relational and presence-based which means I'm not a blank screen and I don't deliver therapy from behind a clipboard. I bring myself into the room: my attention, my observations, and my genuine curiosity about what you're moving through. I draw on a range of modalities like AEDP, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic approaches, Narrative Therapy, Jungian and Depth Psychology, and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, not as rigid protocols but as frameworks I use to understand what's happening and meet you where you actually are. Every person I work with is different, and the approach reflects that.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

I ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations within 24 hours of the session will be charged the full session fee. I understand that life happens, if something genuinely unexpected comes up, reach out and we can talk about it.

  • Do you accept insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. I provide a superbill after each session that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement, depending on your out-of-network benefits. I'd recommend calling your insurance provider ahead of time to ask about your out-of-network mental health coverage. I also offer an equitable sliding scale, reach out to discuss

  • What is psychedelic integration therapy?

Psychedelic integration therapy is the work of making meaning from a psychedelic experience, whether that was a guided ketamine session, a psilocybin ceremony, an MDMA experience, or anything else that opened territory you're still trying to understand. Integration isn't just processing what happened. It's the work of translating insight into actual change: in how you relate to yourself, to others, to your life. Without integration, even profound experiences can fade or destabilize. With skilled support, they can become turning points

  • How do I know if therapy with you is the right fit?

The best way to find out is a free 15-minute consultation. That said, the people I tend to work best with are introspective, depth-oriented, and done with surface-level support. They're often navigating something that doesn't fit neatly into a diagnosis whether it’s complex trauma, identity questions, a psychedelic experience that cracked something open, or a sense that the life they built no longer fits the person they're becoming. If that sounds like you, there's a good chance we're a fit.
